Converting recorded video streams for use on Apple iPod/iPhone/Nano/Touch/Apple TV/iTunes


Streaming video can be automatically converted to various format with settings suitable for playing on various models of Apple iPod/iPhone/Nano/Touch/Apple TV/iTunes once the stream has been downloaded. Select the appropriate settings from the Conversion Settings dropdown.

Additionally existing media files that you may have can be loaded and queued for conversion using the Tools > Convert ... menu item.

If Apple iTunes is installed then converted files can also be imported directly into iTunes once succefully converted by checking the Import into iTunes check box.

Available settings:

iPhone (MP4 MPEG4; 30 fps; 480x320; AAC).

iPhone (MP4 H.264; 30 fps; 480x320; AAC).

iPhone 3G (MP4 MPEG4; 30 fps; 480x320; AAC).

iPod Classic (MP4 MPEG4; 30 fps; 320x240; AAC).

iPod Nano (MP4 MPEG4; 30 fps; 320x240; AAC).

iPod Nano V4 (MP4 H.264; 30 fps; 640x480; AAC).

iPod Nano V4 (MPEG4; 30 fps; 640x480; AAC).

iPod Touch (MP4 MPEG4; 30 fps; 480x320; AAC).

iPod Touch V2 (MP4 H.264; 30 fps; 640x480; AAC).

iPod Touch V2 (MP4 MPEG4; 30 fps; 640x480; AAC).

iTunes High Quality (MPEG, 24 frame per second, 640x480 resolution, AAC audio).

iTunes Opimum Quality (MPEG, 24 frame per second, 320x240 resolution, AAC audio)

iTunes Standard Quality (MPEG, 20 frame per second, 320x240 resolution, AAC audio)

iTunes Low Quality (MPEG, 20 frame per second, 176x144 resolution, ACC audio)
