Jaksta is a RTMP video and music downloader, recorder and converter. RTMP is used by sites such as the BBC and webcam sites.
It is the simplest RTMP video and music downloader and converter to use – just start monitoring and it will automatically detect and download Music, Video and Radio RTMP streams and then convert them into the format you choose from the 100+ conversion setting presets.
Jaksta also supports downloading RTMPT streams – a variation of RTMP that runs on top of the HTTP protocol. Often RTMP streams will automatically switch to RTMPT if you are behind a firewall and your firewall is blocking port 1935.
Using Jaksta as a RTMP Downloader and Converter!
- Ensure Jaksta is monitoring by clicking the Monitoring button and ensure the monitoring animated icon is visible and spinning.
- Select a conversion setting from the dropdown list if required.
- In your browser, navigate to and start to play a RTMP video or music stream. Jaksta will automatically detect and begin to download the stream at super download speeds!
- If a conversion preset is selected Jaksta will automatically convert the downloaded RTMP stream.
