FAQ: I receive this error when I try to uninstall or run Jaksta: “The feature you are trying to use is on a network resource that is unavailable. Click OK to try again, or enter an alternate path to a folder containing the installation package msi”

You may receive this error if you manually remove any of Jaksta’s files, or run third-party uninstallers or registry cleaners that can damage the installation.

Download and run the Cleanup Utility for Jaksta. The utility will search your computer for Jaksta and determine its version. It will then search our server for the .msi file that matches your installed version, then downloads the .msi into the proper location and performs an uninstall. The process is completely automated. All you need to do is run the utility.

Once the utility has finished removing Jaksta you should re-boot your computer. You can then download and install the most current version of Jaksta.
