Can't play any downloaded files

Some of the files are located in the Jaksta folder and can play the file fine.  I have it set to convert to IPad, but did not check the box to "sent to Itunes".  For whatever reason, it does not play the file, when clicking the "play arrow button/icon" directly in the Jaksta application.  My files show the bar status to be complete, but even when hitting the Music button/Icon it says Sent to Itunes but it does not appear in my  Itunes.  It worked fine before, but now I have a bunch of downloaded files, that cannot play at all when clicking the Play Icon.  I have updated the software and moved the application to Trash and reinstalled and still it does not work.

Hi Nancy,

That sounds like the download is not working properly and the files you have are "empty".

Can you say what site you are trying to record from? If at all possible can you send us a link?

It was working before but not  ONE file is working when clicking on the Play button icon.

Hi Nancy,

It would be hard for us to work out what it going on without seeing the log file. Can you say what site you are downloading from?

Can you try downloading a song again, and if it doesn't play then follow these steps:

1. Perform the action that is causing issues.

2. Go to the Jaksta menu at the top of the screen and choose Preferences.

3. Click the Find Log File button. You should see a log file highlighted in Finder.

4. Attach the log file to your forum topic.
