Jaksta media recorder breaking internet

Jaksta works fine when switch is on.

When switch is off, I am unable to connect to the internet.

"Your connection is not private"

I do not run a VPN

Please advise.

Hi Justin,

Can you please try updating Chrome and then perform the same actions that gave the error?

Can you also test the same scenario with a different browser and see if it reacts the same way.

Please let me know the results.

When I close Jaksta Media Recorder, it breaks the Internet connection to Google Chrome, but not to Safari. I'm on MacOS High Sierra. I have to restart the computer to get the connection back. The proxy settings are unchecked after Media Recorder closes, but I still can't connect. This is not good.

Hi David,

Based on what you have reported this is a Chrome specific issue. Have you updated Chrome to the latest version?

No other users have reported this issue for quite some time, so either it has come back and you are the first to report it or you are experiencing an old issue.
