Jaksta wont me connect to the internet

Hi, I've just updated my Jaksta. What happened next has made my Mac useless. I've updated to the latest version recommended in other theeads. Version 1.5.2. Jaksta wont turn on, it keeps crashing. I can open the program, but Jaksta wont switch to "On", and I can't get access to the internet. What do I do? Thanks in advance. Best regards, Christian

Hi Christian,

Sorry for the slow response times over the Christmas break.

First can you try reinstalling it again:
https://www.jaksta.com/download/mac/jaksta-media-recorder

If this does not work, can you send us the log file? You can find it by going to the Preferences and clicking Find Log File. I'm assuming you are able to start the program and get this far (without enabling monitoring), if not then let me know.

Also if you ever lose access to the internet after a crash, go to System Preferences->Network->Advanced and go to the Proxies tab. Untick the Web Proxy (HTTP) and Secure Web Proxy (HTTPS) boxes and then click OK. This should restore your internet.
