Unable to use with Nord VPN

Hi,

I am unable to use Jaksta when connected to the internet via Nord VPN. As soon as I start Jaksta, the web browsers no longer have internet connections.

Is it possible to use Jaksta with a software VPN?

Hi Brian,

Yes it is possible. I use a VPN called IPVanish that has always worked quite well with Jaksta.

Regarding the broken internet connection, just verify that the issue is specific to when running Jaksta with your VPN. Jaksta has it's own proxy settings that it uses for the auto-capture mechanism and when something is wrong with the configuration it can cause a similar problem. Just do a test where you run Jaksta only and see if it runs alright. If it does then it's likely the VPN that introduced the conflict.

It does appear that the combination of Nord VPN and Jaksta is the problem. Is there a way to troubleshoot towards a solution? Or am I stuck and need a different VPN?

Hi Brian,

Unfortunately we don't have the ability to do any troubleshooting when it comes to VPN issues. You'll need to ty another VPN if you have your heart set on using one in conjunction with Jaksta.
