Jaksta Media Recorder for Windows for Windows Technical Support Forum

Download error

 Hi,

I have in the past very often downloaded files form this site: https://www.zdf.de/sendung-verpasst, and never had any problems whatsoever. Lately, though, nothing works from this site anymore. All I get are error messages like this:

I've tried all sorts of work arounds; i.e. copy the URL into Jaksta, or even doing a screen video captue. I even went back to a previous Jaksta version, but all to no avail. Other sites seem to work ok; what is it with this one?

Thanks for any help!

Andy

Jaksta is "extracting", then briefly "downloading", then something like the attached is displayed. The first two failures are from a website that I used hundreds of times for download, all without problems. The second two are from a similar website, from which Jaksta only seems to allow the download in low quality; the failed one was usually in higher quality.

None of my Jaksta settings have changed; I don't understand what's causing these failures. Should I try to install a much older version of Jaksta?

Thanks,

Andy

Sites change all the time.  This is why we release new versions all the time.   An older version is unlikely to help you.

Please provide debug logs as per https://support.jaksta.com/a/forums/folders/6000186433

Ensure debug is on before you click AUTO on and collect after the error.

Upgrading to the latest version (7.0.0.34) seems to have resolved the issue (which appeared for me in both version ...32 and ...33).

Let's be optimistic it's solved for good!

Thanks
