When recording on a slow internet connection it would be nice to have a pause button when downloading more than one movie

Pausing does not work with most modem protocols unfortunately. Its not possible to resume. Most pauses in players are either the playback pauses but the download continues or the player will make a new request with new details once it play is pressed again.
You can change the number of concurrent downloads to control your bandwidth usage.
Settings > Internet Downloads > Concurrent Downloads
Alot of stream details do expire however after a period of time (depends on the site), so if you are queuing lots then you may get failures if this happens. You will just need to play with the number and what works best for you and the site you are capturing from.
