EDIT 2: Seems you can't edit your own posts. Anyway, I was using the Monitor function and left settings on Prompt (although I never get prompted on anything), tried both Ncap and Network monitors.
I don't understand how Auto mode works, it only shows an animated download icon in the lower left but nothing is being downloaded? Mysterious.

stripchat downloads and plays back ok here. If there is a particular performer you are having issues with then please provide details and logs as per https://jaksta.com/support/windows/technical/jaksta-media-recorder/how-to-generate-debug-logs-6000009063. There is only one stripchat stream so you wont be prompted for multiple streams.
The monitor function doesnt use AUTO mode (Npcap or network monitors). Auto mode is useful where you want JMR to pick up a stream as you browse to it in your browser. The monitor function is useful when you want to monitor live streams constantly for activity.
