Technical Support for Jaksta Media Recorder
Jaksta causes Firefox errors
Asked by Andreas Rudolph @ 26 Jan 2018 08:01 / Views: 69
Hi
I just upgraded to Jaksta 7.0.0.51, and remembering from past upgrades, I reinstalled the Firefox HTTPS monitor. Nevertheless, if I go on any website for downloads (or even the Jaksta support page!), I get this Firefox error:
SEC_ERROR_BAD_SIGNATURE
I tried reinstalling Jaksta 7.0.0.46 as that one worked; however, that's not working now, either.
Please review and let me know how to get past this.
Thanks,
Andy

7.0.0.54 supports installing the certificate in Firefox > 57 at install time and via the reinstall Firefox HTTPS monitor button in the advanced settings.
The following has been updated to show the two methods available to either use the windows certificate store, or reinstall the cert into Firefox itself.
