Jaksta Media Recorder for Windows for Windows Technical Support Forum

why does it keep showing queud on jaksta media recorder

ive been experiencing this bug all the time recently. when using media recorder files will show as queud, and dont download. its not that the simultaneous file downloadd limit (concurrent downloads) its reached it seems as that is set to 0.

Its very frustrating as bascially need to close jaksta then reopen it frequently instead of just letting it run.

Also, 100% entries in the monitor just delete themselves. this has been the case for many months, however support just seems to deny this issue exists, even though i havent removed those entries, so how can they just dissapear by themselves?

i would really appreciate if these issues are properly resolved and fixed

Hey - welcome back.

As per your last post in march about your monitors being deleted, I explained that if your roaming profile is deleted then the cache that stores the monitors will be deleted.

https://www.jaksta.com/support/windows/technical/jaksta-media-recorder/occassional-issues-whilst-downloading-from-chaturbate-6000060387

You can also export and import monitors from the Monitor tab, so if you or something else is removing those files from your roaming profile then you can import them back.

As for the queuing issue please provide debug logs as per the following link that shows the issue and I can tell you what is happening

https://www.jaksta.com/support/windows/technical/jaksta-media-recorder/how-to-generate-debug-logs-6000009063

i dont understand why would my roaming profile get deleted? how can i stop if from being deleted and thus stop entries in the monitor from being deleted. yes im aware there is an import/export function which is useful, but would be better if roaming profile doesnt get deleted however this is happening. Also would be useful having a pause or stop option for entries, rather than having to delete them completely from within monitor.

attached is debug log.

I have no idea as that is your computer.  That is something you will need to work out.

You can enable or disable any individual monitor as shown in the image.

Will provide analysis of your logs tomorrow.

was expecting to have a reply the next day as you said, 4 days later havent heard anything back, would be good to know why this is happening and why files are always queing so i can actually use the media recorder and not have to restart it constantly to have it work. oh thats already there to be able to disable an individual monitor thats good. thx

Here is a analysis of your log files showing the difference between when when something was queued and when it was switched to in progress.  The time differences are negligible.

ok great so ive just waited 4 days for nothing. this happens everytime i use jaksta and its beyond frustrating. the log i sent definetly had alot of queued files as it does everytime now when i use it. where does it show in the log file how long it was in queue for? why does it go in queue anyway? if i have no limit? can i have some kind of information as to why this might be occurring in the meantime? so i can look at possible solutions.......

Whats with the attitude mate?  Stop it.

The table shows the queued time and then when its status is changing to Inprogress. For example  download item 9 was queued at  2020-06-27 19:43:41,167 went inprogress at  2020-06-27 19:43:41,168

Live stream Monitor checks and downloads are queued based on  Concurrent Downloads and Max Concurrent Checks settings.  Queues are used so people don't kill the app by flooding it with requests and can have some control over its performance.

You have max concurrent downloads set at 50 (not unlimited) and Max concurrent monitor checks set at its default value of 5 by the looks of it.

Settings > Internet Downloads > Concurrent Downloads

Settings > Advanced > Monitor > Max Concurrent Checks

mate no need to be rude and tell me just go away. ive paid for this app and i expect it to function and work as its meant too just like anyone would, pardon me for getting frustrated that its not working as expected.  im not trying to be difficult im just trying to find a solution to why its not working properly. i hope you can understand that. telling customers just go away isnt very nice. I appreciate your efforts and I can understand its not easy developing and having to answer alot of queries, however i am just trying to find a solution to my problem like others. i apologize for my frustration, just trying to figure out why this is occurring so as can hopefully find a solution :)

i do appreciate that you have developed this app yourself and I know it must not be easy to answer all questions and support by yourself. i do apologize for my tone :)

no probs.  I fully understand frustration but if we just follow the forum rules it makes things much easier for everyone.   https://www.jaksta.com/support/windows/technical/jaksta-media-recorder/welcome-to-the-new-forums-6000009067

Ill keep trying to answer your questions and get to the bottom of any issues you are having.

As for the live monitors deleting,  there is no way I can see that the app can do that as the code just does not exist to delete all monitors except via the user interface and then only one at a time.  Even if the monitor file is corrupt, its not deleted and will still exist in your roaming profile but will not be loaded in the UI.

As per the other users post,  if you uninstall/install and select to wipe your library etc then everything is cleared.  That is what that user had done.

As for what else might be deleting the monitors from your roaming profile.  Antivirus, software updates?

Here is what I suggest to help us get to the bottom of it.

Switch on file deletion auditing on the folder C:\Users\<your user>\AppData\Roaming\Jaksta Media Recorder 7\Monitors

https://www.lepide.com/how-to/track-file-deletions-and-permission-changes-on-file-servers.html

Switch on Debug mode on start in JMR.  Get Support > Debug mode on start and switch debug on.

When all the monitors disappear.

1.  Follow  https://www.jaksta.com/support/windows/technical/jaksta-media-recorder/how-to-generate-debug-logs-6000009063  to grab both msinfor32 and JMR debug logs.  The msinfo32 dump will contain the audit events.

2.  Go to  C:\Users\<your user>\AppData\Roaming\Jaksta Media Recorder 7\Monitors  and see if there are any files in there.  If there are then zip them up.

Post everything here.

Please see the last post here:   https://www.jaksta.com/support/windows/technical/jaksta-media-recorder/monitor-entries-keep-disappearing-after-updating-to-jaksta-media-recorder-70100-6000061902

If you could capture this behaviour that would be great for all of us.
